Our Mission and Vision
The Texas Covenant Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction is dedicated to nurturing the spiritual growth and development of its districts through biblical integrity and the power of the Holy Spirit. Our mission is to cultivate covenant relationships that empower churches to flourish and communities to be transformed. Under the visionary leadership of Bishop Gilbert Isaiah Gillum, Jr., and Supervisor Melonie Iglehart-Hammons, we strive to build leaders and congregations that reflect the heart of God and the mission of Christ.
Introducing Our Five Districts
The Texas Covenant Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction is comprised of five distinct districts, each contributing uniquely to our collective mission. The Central District, led by Administrative Assistant Edwin Pope, Sr., is a beacon of hope in Austin, TX. The Heart of Texas District, under the guidance of Administrative Assistant Robert Ellis, Sr., serves the Killeen community with dedication. In Dallas, the North Texas District, led by Administrative Assistant Eric Andrews, is a hub of innovation and growth. The West Texas District, with Administrative Assistant Elijah Demerson at the helm, brings spiritual vitality to Amarillo. Finally, the Southeast District, guided by Administrative Assistant Ivan Gordon, is a cornerstone of faith in Houston. Together, these districts embody the spirit of collaboration and service that defines our jurisdiction.
